This is a boilerplate template for new issues of the Scripts++, a community-written newsletter about userscripts edited by DannyS712.

Usage

Main article: Wikipedia:Scripts++/Instructions

New issues should be started by substituting this template onto the page where the issue is to be written. It takes a single positional parameter: a date in YYYY-MM-DD format. When the issue is ready, increment the number at {{Scripts++/current}}.

{{subst:Wikipedia:Scripts++/Shell|date in YYYY-MM-DD format}}

Example

The 26th issue to cover May 2025 would be created by placing {{subst:Wikipedia:Scripts++/Shell|2025-05-10}} on Wikipedia:Scripts++/Next and saving the page (convenience preload link). The newly placed wikitext can then be edited to fill in content specific to that issue. Then just before publication it is moved to Wikipedia:Scripts++/Issue 26.
