Aji John, also known as Aji, is an Indian film director Malayalam film industry. He is also an actor,He has done predominant work in the Malayalam film industry. He has directed three Malayalam films and acted in 10 Malayalam feature films.

Early life
Aji John was born in Kollam District, Kerala, India. Aji John did his primary schooling at LMS LPS, Mannoor upper primary schooling at St. Mary's UPS Moongodu and secondary schooling at MTHS Channapetta. He finished his pre-degree at St. John's College, Anchal. He pursued an Engineering Diploma in Electronics and Avionics from the Govt. Polytechnic College, Neyyattinkara, Trivandrum. Aji John married to Sajiritha Ajijohn (Deepa Aji John) in 2004. Aji John settled in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2022 with his wife and two children.
Career
Aji John's debut film was ‘Nallavan’ a Malayalam drama film released in 2010. The film featured Jayasurya,Mythili,Sidique,Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sai Kumar in the lead roles. Mohan Sithara was the music director of Nallavan. Aji John directed his second film "Namukku Parkkan" in 2012 with Anoop Menon and Jayasurya in lead. Meghana Raj was the heroin in this film. This film was a family drama. Aji Johns's third film as a director was 2013 Malayalam comedy movie Hotel California. The film featured Jayasurya and Anoop Menon in the lead roles. He planned to direct a Bollywood movie with Ajith Antony - former defence minister A. K. Antony's younger son as hero and the project was postponed later.
Apart from directing films, Aji John has also acted films. He debuted as an actor in Malayalam movie David and Goliath directed by Rajeevnath released in 2013 in which he played a pivot character of a journalist.
Aji John acted in a TV series named ‘Pokkuveyil’ in Flowers TV directed by K. K. Rajeev in 2016. For the performance in this TV series, he got flowers TV best performing actor award in 2016.
In 2018 in the Malayalam comedy film Shikkari Shambhu,directed by Sugeeth, Aji John played an important role named "Victor" along with Kunchacko Boban which was noticeable.
In 2019 Aji John acted in an action thriller film ‘Safe'. Aji John played one of the lead role. This film was directed by Pradeep Kalipurayath and featured Anusree, Siju Wilson, Aji John and Aparna Gopinath in the lead roles. Aji John also acted in Malayalam film Neeyum Njanum directed by A. K. Sajan which was released in 2019. Aji John played a character named ‘Sufi’ in this movie along with Siju Wilson, Sharaf U Dheen and Anu Sithara.
Aji John acted in a crime investigation thriller malayalam movie named Twenty One Gms in 2022 written and directed by Bibin Krishna . Aji john played a character named Jimmy along with Anoop Menon , Renji Panicker, Leona Lishoy, Anu Mohan and Ranjith, Music by Deepak Dev
In 2020 Aji John acted in Ayyappanum Koshiyum. He played the character named "Ummen" along with Prithviraj Sukumaran.
In 2022 Aji John played his independent lead role in Malayalam Tamil bilingual movie name Siddy[1] directed by Pious raj and music Composed by Ramesh Narayan. Famous footballer I. M. Vijayan and Rajesh Sharma are other important characters in this film.
