Barry McArdle is an Irish citizen currently in jail in Holland for the brutal murder and mutilation of Keith Ennis. Barry McArdle along with another Irish man stabbed Keith Ennis to death and chopped up his body with a chainsaw. Ennis's remains were dumped in a canal in Rotterdam in 2009.
McArdle is no stranger to criminality he has 19 previous convictions including possession of €1 million-worth of diamorphine for the purpose of sale or supply. He was handed a 12 year sentence for this and he didn't serve the full sentence.
While in prison, McArdle has continued his criminal ways, he used the prison phone to ring and threaten a former neighbour in Galway Ireland, McArdle was identified by the phone number, as it was the prison number. The Dutch prison service confirmed it was indeed McArdle that rang. This is now the matter a criminal investigation, the former neighbour has said McArdle's Wife Vicky was also in contact with the neighbour, informing them to expect a phonecall.
