Daryl Lee Banks III (born September 9, 2000) is an American college basketball player for the St. Bonaventure Bonnies of the Atlantic 10 Conference. He previously played for the Saint Peter's Peacocks. Banks is best known for his integral role in Saint Peter's historic underdog run to the Elite Eight in the 2022 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament.

High school career
Banks played 4 years at The Patrick School in Hillside, New Jersey. He was named captain for his junior and senior seasons. In 2017, Banks led The Patrick School to the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions, beating Don Bosco Prep.[1]. Banks played high school basketball with Al-Amir Dawes who played for Clemson and Seton Hall.
College career
Saint Peter's
In 2019, Banks accepted an offer to play for coach Shaheen Holloway at Saint Peter's. He gained noterity when the Peacocks made a run in the 2022 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament with wins over Kentucky, Murray State, and Purdue[2]. Saint Peter's advanced to the Elite 8 in the tournament, but were eliminated by North Carolina.
In April 2022, Banks transferred to St. Bonaventure[3]. In the 2022-23 season, Banks led the Bonnies in scoring, while earning All A10 Conference 3rd Team.
Personal life
Banks is the son of Monica and Daryl Banks Jr, and has 4 siblings, Devenn, Kevin, Darrin, and Elijah[4] Banks is a sports management major.
