Derby Computer Museum in Derby, England [1] [2] is a computer museum exhibiting 70s, 80s and 90s computers, gaming and portable technology with a focus on being “hands on” whilst preserving and maintaining computing history and opened in December 2022 [3] [4]

Aims

The museum aims to preserve and maintain computing history, be an educational resource for schools, act as an information repository for historians, and to provide a "hands on" fun activity for people to visit [5] [6]

Exhibits

The museum focuses on "hands on" working machines from the 70s, 80s and 90s [7] so that visitors can not only see the exhibits, but use and play them too. [8]

Structure

Derby Computer Museum is a registered charity, number 1199054, and run by volunteers. [2]
