History
In January 1988, the merger of J C H Bowdler & Sons, originally founded by Welsh footballer Jack Bowdler, and Lanyons of Wellington, formed Lanyon Bowdler. This merger brought together two firms with a long-standing history in the legal field, dating back to the 19th century.
