The Snowdropper is a 1975 TV play starring Fiona Walker, Peter Sallis, Peter Vaughan and Glyn Welden. The movie takes place in Wales, England and centres around an escaped convict who takes refuge in a remote Welsh cottage. It was made by the BBC, produced in colour and screened on 29 May 1975.[1]

Plot
An escaped convict named Spicer who is a snowdropper takes refuge in a remote Welsh cottage in Wales and while he's there he meets a women named Beulah who has metal health problems. Spicer wants Beulah to help him find a place to hide out. Despite Beulah's mental health problems she has she decides to help him however she slowly starts to enjoy his company. At the same time a Sergeant is also trying to get Beulah to control her mental health problems. The movie was adapted from Alun Richards stage play of the same name.[2][3]

Production
The whole movie was filmed on one massive big set which was a set of the inside of a cottage. The full set was designed by Julian Williams. The movie took 5 days to film from the 20 May 1975 - 24 May 1975.[4]
Reception
The movie was first broadcast on 29 May 1975 on BBC One Wales and it was later rebroadcast again on 28 February 1977 on BBC One Wales.[5] The movie has never been released on VHS or DVD although the movie is available to watch on TV Brain and on Rarefilmm the Cave of Forgotten Films.[6][7] The movie can also be found very easily on my other websites that have the full movie.
