Checker's only 50/50, and this has been here long enough that it could be a content fork. Listing for independent review. TomStar81 (Talk) 06:16, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
Articles with talk pages in Category:Suspected copyright infringements without a source from 2004 and 2005:
- Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (history · last edit · rewrite)
- Issue resolved. Rewritten entirely at some point, all vio gone. Sennecaster (Chat) 04:05, 16 September 2022 (UTC)
- Roman Catholic Diocese of Bathurst in Canada (history · last edit · rewrite)
- I've presumptively rewritten the history section based upon the Catholic Encyclopedia from 1908 (a public domain source), though I was unable to find a copyright violation. There was an incompletely attributed merge that I resolved as well. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 05:04, 16 September 2022 (UTC)
- Supersolid (history · last edit · rewrite)
- Issue resolved. The copyright violations were removed historically, but no revdel was completed, so a revdel has been requested. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 19:49, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
- Revision deletion completed. Copyright problem removed from history. MER-C 18:44, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- Peak Wilderness Sanctuary (history · last edit · rewrite)
- I'm unable to find copyvio text about this place written in English, Tamil, and Sinhalese that predate the article's creation. However, as I lack proficiency in the latter two languages, I'd prefer to have someone with some level of proficiency in either of those double-check me on this. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 20:14, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
- No vio found, claim cannot be validated. Tag removed from article. None of the regular checkers of this page speak Tamil or Sinhalese, trusting Red-tailed hawk's judgement. Sennecaster (Chat) 04:21, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- Stephens Island (New Zealand) (history · last edit · rewrite)
- Doesn't appear to be copyvio from any online source. Google Books returns results for Stephens Island: Ark of the Light when searching verbatim for some of the text introduced into the article in this edit, however, so we might want to check this source before declaring it copyvio-free. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 04:52, 18 September 2022 (UTC)
- No vio found, claim cannot be validated. Tag removed from article. Source cannot be reasonably accessed, no other copyright sources found. Sennecaster (Chat) 04:21, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- Plot of the rue Saint-Nicaise (history · last edit · rewrite)
- Copy-paste from <https://www.google.com/books/edition/Napoleon_by_Jacques_Bainville_Translated/Pg4aAAAAMAAJ?hl=en&gbpv=0>, which may be a copyrighted translation (the French version of the book became public domain in 2006, so this was copyvio when first added to Wikipedia). The other material cited includes references to the 1989 edition of Dictionnaire Napoléon, the 1971 edition of Napoleon by André Castelot, and several other books. I'm unable to track them down, but much of the original material remains in the article, and copyvio appears (at least in part) to be foundational. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 00:56, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
- Blanked and relisted under today. MER-C 18:45, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- At this point, it should be pitched to WP:RSX if we really want to clean this. Sennecaster (Chat) 21:50, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
