I think the best way to understand this is to walk through the history of page Emilio Scotto starting when 65.11.155.108 (talk · contribs) began editing, followed quickly by Emilio Scotto (talk · contribs) [1].
From that point to the present, there are about 56 edits, which show a coordinated effort to promote Emilio Scotto's book, delete negative information about Scotto, and make the page Emilio Scotto into an advert/promotion for Scotto and his enterprises.
If you look at those 56 edits, it will probably work much better than trying to follow what I've written below. But here goes...
The following series of edits seems to indicate that Emilio Scotto (talk · contribs) lacks technical skill with editing Wikipedia: [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9], [10], [11].
About 4 or 5 hours after that last edit, Miamireporter (talk · contribs) appears, and displays some depth of understanding about Wikipedia. Two redirected pages are created, [12], [13], which handle common misspellings of Emilio Scotto. A redirect is even created for Scotto's nickname for his motorcycle, "Black Princess" [14]. Miamireporter then revised Emilio Scotto showing skill with Wikipedia formatting and tools, using {{Infobox Celebrity}}, {{flagicon}}s, correct <ref> tags and so on, and citing many sources using decent formatting, though not meeting the criteria of WP:RS [15]. The effect was to make Scotto look good and delete negative information, and provide lots of links to pages that say good things about Scotto, or pages that sell his book.
Alejandrochiffi (talk · contribs) appeared briefly to delete some negative information from Emilio Scott and copy-paste a gushing Amazon review, but only made 2 edits before Miamireporter (talk · contribs) took over.
IP addresses 70.156.239.92 (talk · contribs) and 65.11.168.252 (talk · contribs) and 65.10.26.242 (talk · contribs) appeared a few times to delete maintenance tags.
So my theory is that Miamireporter (talk · contribs) is a meatpuppet of Emilio Scotto (talk · contribs) (who is probably Emilio Scotto himself, or someone working for him). 65.11.155.108 (talk · contribs) is probably Emilio Scotto (talk · contribs). Alejandrochiffi (talk · contribs) is probably a sock of Miamireporter (talk · contribs), as are 70.156.239.92 (talk · contribs), 65.11.168.252 (talk · contribs) and 65.10.26.242 (talk · contribs)
It isn't necessary, but if you understand Spanish (I don't) and have about 15 minutes, and you are extra curious about who is who in this saga, you could watch these YouTube videos of interviews with Emilio Scotto: [16] [17]. Conclusions
Administrator note It is clear, at least to me per behavioral evidence alone, that Alejandrochiffi is Miamireporter and the IPs. Both Alejandrochiffi and Miamireporter have been indefinitely blocked and tagged, with the IPs left unblocked as they haven't edited in a while. Emilio Scotto is likely unrelated as his edits are different than all the rest of the listed accounts. However, he should be aware of WP:COI if he isn't already.
