Suspected sockpuppets


The situation here is a little weird. All of the above accounts are currently blocked, as I blocked the first account for creating articles that were blatant hoaxes. There is no material to substantiate any claims that a musician by the name of User:AlifLif has done all of the things that the initial article for AlifLif asserted, which was that they had made multiple albums, worked with multiple notable persons such as Lady Gaga, and that they were signed to multiple record companies. I blocked the editor because they were editing over a period of a few months and their edits were reverted more than a few times on Gaga related articles, meaning that they showed no sign of stopping their activity. Shortly thereafter a new account, User:Queen Marbella signed on and created the same articles, a very blatant sock- so blatant that I blocked them for re-creating the same articles. Now the new account, User:Queen Marabella, has started editing articles, which I blocked for the same reason. I don't know how long the article will be up, but the article's infobox was taken from the article Lana Del Rey- who is decidedly not AlifLif. I did do an additional good faith search before submitting this and it really only confirmed that none of the editor's claims are anything other than a hoax they're trying to promote.

I know that currently everyone is blocked, but I'd really like for there to be an official sockpuppet check to see if there are any other socks hiding and maybe even get the user's IP blocked if that's an option. It looks like they are only going to continue to try to re-add the information in various different formats. Tokyogirl79 (｡◕‿◕｡) 10:22, 17 January 2014 (UTC)
