(Filing note: There were a few ofter users whom I also suspect, but I'm unsure if it's better to report a small amount that I'm confident of, versus a larger amount that I'm less confident of.) (Retroactive note: the following is poorly done, skip down to the horizontal rule where I redid this report.)
All of these users have repeatedly attempted to adjust the economic figures within Economy of Bangladesh to differ from its sources. Examples, one each, in order: [1] [2] [3] [4]. Going through the history of that article, I see a lot of edits to a similar effect.
I'm a little uncertain about a few things between these accounts (such as the suspected sockmaster being the only one using the Android app), but due to this article's long history of verification-failing edits to economic statistics, I think a CU is warranted; it's also likely that there are accounts I missed as well. It's also worth mentioning there are also several IPs that have attempted similar edits (see 36.255.47.187 (talk) or this revert: [5]). Perryprog (talk) 15:28, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
Let's do this again as per my comments below. I think I was sloppy when I originally filed this report.
- I'm a bit uncertain about Ahosanhabibredoy50. The edits that caught my eye were these two, which is an increase in the GDP that I don't see in any previous of current versions of the provided sources.
- They also made some older edits here, although they don't modify the GDP. Instead they increased the value of expenses in a way that didn't reflect the source.
- These edits by OmarFaroque07 (similar usernames as the next user, too), where they adjusted the GDP that was correct to be higher, and it doesn't seem to appear in the provided source. They also adjusted the per-capita GDP, which was previously correct, to be higher in a similar fashion.
- These edits by Jabedali007 adjust the GDP to be significantly higher than what's listed in the sources. They also lowered the poverty rate from a previously high value (actual per source was 20.5%, the previous version listed 60.5%, they changed it to 18.5%) and lowered the previously correct value of percentage of people living on less than $3.20/day. All of these changes were not verified by the sources in that version of the article.
- This edit by Faruque dynamic, despite not using the latest data, does match what's shown in the source, and is not larger than what should be expected. I think I was mistaken to suspect them as a sockpuppet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Perryprog (talk • contribs) 17:24, 13 December 2020 (UTC)

Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims.
- And because it's fully relevant, it looks like a few of my older edits on that article were using incorrect figures (the latest version should be correct however); Worldbruce brought this up here. Perryprog (talk) 15:54, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- One other thing it seems I forgot to mention is the two -07 users were created one day apart, with OmarFaroque07 on 24 October 2020 and Jabedali007 on the 25th. Perryprog (talk) 15:34, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
- Since pending changes was added (which helped a great deal), I haven't seen any other account activity that would plausibly be connected here. Would it be fine if this is closed as-is, and re-filed/re-opened/whatever if necessary later on? Perryprog (talk) 02:19, 29 December 2020 (UTC)
Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments
- I can't run Ahosanhabibredoy50, as the account is too stale. The rest are Possible. They're all from the same country, but from different ranges, ISPs, and with different user agents. That's all I can give you, unfortunately... ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 17:31, 14 December 2020 (UTC)
- Clerk note: Well from a behavioral point of view they don't look like the same user to me, but the best solution here could be to enable pending change protection since this is happening from quite some time and a lot of users are involved. Awaiting administrative action - Please enable Pending Change protection for Economy of Bangladesh. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 15:11, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
- 1997kB - Done. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 18:40, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
- Clerk note: Closing - 1997 and CU say these are probably different people and PC has been enabled on the page in question as requested. GeneralNotability (talk) 03:04, 29 December 2020 (UTC)
