Suspected sockpuppets

User:Mahichowdhury20 (created 23 January), sole edit was submitting an AFC for Draft:Atikur Rahman Mahi, created by anon editors, and Draft:Atikur Rahman Mahi(Actor).

User:Realarmahiin (created 19 February), and so far only a short burst of edits on 15 March, including an edit to Draft:Atikur Rahman Mahi [1], inserting Mahi's name falsely into an awards article [2], altering Mahi's false addition to a film cast [3], and creating Draft:Daily Shyamal Sylhet, about a website owned by Mahi.

User:Mariyachowdhury (created 21 March) was blocked on 17 August for disruptive WP:SPA edits about Mahi, including an article hijacking: [4], [5]. See WP:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive1137 for more detail. The MO in several of these accounts is to copy an article such as Hridoy Islam to a new name, typically a variant of Atikur Rahman Mahi.

User:Somoytvbd (created 12 June), already spamblocked for edits to Draft:Atikur Rahman Mahi and fake additions about Mahi to Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Child Artist in their half-hour life on day of account creation.

User:Samirakhanmahi07 (created 1 Sept), SPA edits for half an hour to Draft:Atikur Rahman Mahi (actor) on day of account creation.

User:Jerinjannat (created 2 Sep), three edits so far, two of which were removing the AFC templates/comment and failed-verification templates from the content fork at Draft:Atikur Rahman Mahi (actor), evidently created to evade page protection added to the original, [6].

User:Mariyachowdhuryeva (created 2 Sep), three edits so far: adding the latest fake reference to Draft:Atikur Rahman Mahi (actor) [7], removing AFC templates/comment from same [8], removing failed-verification template from same [9].

User: Mahichowdhury20 is the oldest account I've found so far, but a checkuser might turn up an older one, and with at least three accounts created yesterday and today, it seems justified. Wikishovel (talk) 13:32, 2 September 2023 (UTC)

Adding User:Zarakhanmahi75 (created 13 Sep), first edit was a link to Chosic Music Company, then creating Draft:Chosic Music Company, founder Atikur Rahman Mahi, then linking from other articles. Another attempted page hijack, this time to create Chosic Music Company article in mainspace [12], added Mahi's name to a label article [13], and created Atikur Rahman Mahi in mainspace.

N.B. I've just noticed that there's an older SPI for this: WP:Sockpuppet investigations/Atikurrahmanmahi2/Archive , with an account created in Dec. 2022. And an even older account exists from July 2022, User:Mariyakhan0, only edits were to create Draft:Atikur Rahman Mahi, deleted G11. So it looks like this SPI may need either merging to the Atikurrahmanmahi2 SPI, or the whole thing renamed to the oldest known account. Wikishovel (talk) 04:53, 23 September 2023 (UTC)

Bounced back and forth between drafts and Rafiul Islam Sagor (musician), before going to AFD. Socks of Atikurrahmanmahi2 (Armahibd, Realarmahibdk, possibly others) have previously been involved in creating Draft:Atikur Rahman Mahi (artist). A new copy has recently been created by recent account Alvibinmahi and subsequently edited by another, Btsbangla. There's also editing by IP 103.199.84.137. Listing all those here.

Note also that this draft title is relatively new, after the earlier Draft:Atikur Rahman Mahi was protected: there you'll find all sorts of fun & games going back at least 18 months, including a fairly recent (Sept-23) recreation by Mahirahman10, who per their user page appears linked to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mahichowdhury20. User Alvibinmahi10 just created and submitted (now declined) Draft:MC Stan (rapper) with the exact same content (notice the references). Other than the edits to the MC Stan draft, AustinVD looks behaviourally distinct from the other accounts. There is a significant technical link between Alvibinmahi10 and Mcsatn, who is blocked as part of Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mahichowdhury20.
