"jjva" specifically is from the Devanagari script but I'm uncertain about what language it's representing, if any. It may just be a straight transliteration of a character. The entire page needs to be lang tagged anyway, so I added {cleanup lang} --Xurizuri (talk) 01:06, 14 February 2021 (UTC)

Investigate further
This includes ones that I (Xurizuri) couldn't understand the comment enough to be able to categorise properly.
- 1 - Jason Firth - wikt:overager - an overager for the North Bay Centennials.
- 1 - Jiang Lifu - wikt:syringine: "syringine geometry". Couldn't find anything that might replace it. // I think this may be a dodgy translation. It might refer to Euclid's Elements. We may need someone that knows about Chinese mathematics. --Xurizuri (talk) 08:30, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
- 1 - John Yorkston - wikt:wharler: wtf is a wharler? Can't think of anything close... // added {please clarify} --Xurizuri (talk) 08:30, 5 February 2021 (UTC)

- 1 - Jassi Sidhu - wikt:honkeh: a type of song. // I can't find it used outside of this article, so I'm not actually sure it is a type of music. --Xurizuri (talk) 08:37, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
- 8 - Japanese counter word - wikt:come.PAST, wikt:come.PAST, wikt:drink.PAST, wikt:drink.PAST: some type of language notation, I can't figure it out. Ira Leviton (talk) 23:45, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
These ones I (Xurizuri) am not certain about the MOS verdict on.
- 1 - Joué-sur-Erdre - wikt:Gaudi(us): brackets to show an uncertainty in a name. Ira Leviton (talk) 16:07, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
- 2 - Jagera people - Yug[g]: brackets are used to show two spellings, with one g or two. Ira Leviton (talk) 02:04, 5 February 2021 (UTC) // if MOS allows this, then it should still be changed to () not [] --Xurizuri (talk) 08:37, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
Titles
Works that MOS considers major, as listed here, should be in italics. Adding italics won't make the word not get detected here again, so one of the other solutions will still be required after its italicised. Minor works, as listed here, should be in quotemarks. Adding quotemarks will mean that the word won't get detected again, so problem solved. However, if it's in another language, then it should also be {lang} tagged.
