Below I describe how this file was created as well as provide some notes on the revision history.
Creation
Flowchart was created in Visio 2007
Printed to a PDF
Resulting PDF opened in Adobe Illustrator
Tweaked/resized slightly
Exported from there as an SVG
History
The first file entry[dead link] below contains a text version (where the text has not been converted to outlines but is still directly editable). The very next revision[dead link] had the text converted to outlines (the precision was also lowered to three decimal points to reduce the file size). For whatever reason Visio 2007 has broken SVG which didn't seem to want to work for anything other than Visio.
This revision[dead link] is like the first one, except the text has been made larger and was bolded. The revision after that goes back to text oulines (less useful for translations).
It is my hope that this revision[dead link] can be translated to other languages without much difficulty.
Suggested alt text: Image of a process flowchart. The start symbol is labeled "Previous consensus" with an arrow pointing to "Make an edit", then to "Wait", then to a decision symbol labeled "Was the article edited further?". From this first decision, "No" points to an end symbol labeled "New Consensus". "Yes" points to another decision symbol labeled "Do you agree with the change?". From this second decision, "Agree" points to the "New Consensus" end symbol. "Disagree" points to "Seek a compromise", then "Implement", then back to the previously mentioned "Make an edit", thus making a loop.
Suggested title: When an edit is made, other editors may either accept it, change it, or [[Help:Reverting|revert]] it. Seek a compromise means "attempt to find a generally acceptable solution", either through continued editing or through discussion.
