Summary
DescriptionESB.svg |
English: This image shows 3 types of systems .NET systems, BPEL systems and JAVA systems. If a customer wants to communicate with a producer directly, they would have to communicate with different systems in different ways. The systems on the right can communicate from top to bottom using SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), RNI (Raw Native Interface), SOAP, REST (Representational state transfer) and JNI (Java Native Interface), respectively. The ESB is responsible for translating and routing so that all customers can communicate via the same protocol to all systems of the manufacturers (in this case, via SOAP). Utilizing ESB, it is very easy to connect new systems, as adjustments only need to be done in one place, the ESB, to allow for a new connection with a new system. |
