English: Calculated based on the fact that the date depends on the epact of the year and on the dominical letter of the year. Each epact from 1 to 30 is equally likely, and exactly 14% of years have dominical letter A, 14.5% B, 14% C, 14.5% D, 14.25% E, 14.25% F, and 14.5% G. Note that epacts 25 and 26 both give April 17 for the ecclesiastical full moon. But when the epact is 25 the ecclesiastical full moon falls on April 17 only 8/19 of the time, otherwise on April 18. |
