Basque Country/Spain: Pasaia/Pasajes (still alive 1928). Wuerttemberg/Germany: 4 villages where the language was spoken about 1930. Calabria/Italy: Guardia Piemontese and San Sisto dei Valdesi.Français : Aire linguistique de l’occitan, état de situation en l’an 1900. Sur la carte, seule est représentée l’Europe, sans les territoires d’outre-mer tels que Valdese (Caroline du Nord, États-Unis) ou Colonia Valdense (Uruguay). Y figurent en particulier : Pasaia/Pasajes (Pays basque, Espagne), où l’occitan était présent jusqu’en 1928 ; quatre villages dans le Bade-Wurtemberg (Allemagne), où la langue se pratiquait encore vers 1930 ; et Guardia Piemontese et San Sisto dei Valdesi (en Calabre, Italie). |
