DescriptionReversal of handedness of circularly polarized light reflected by mirror 2s.gif
English: Sándor Nagy, http://nagysandor.eu/
This is a 3-slide series of pictures (delay: 2 s) taken with and without a pair of masterImage 3D circularly polarized movie glasses from some dead European rose chafers (Cetonia aurata) whose shiny green color comes from left-polarized light. It is to demonstrate reversal of handedness by reflection in the case of circular polarization.

Ez a 3 kockányi képsorozat (késleltetés: 2 s) egy masterImage 3D cirkulárisan polarizált moziszemüveg segítségével készült egy pár aranyos rózsabogár (Cetonia aurata) teteméről, melyek aranyzöld csillogása balra cirkulárisan polarizált fénytől ered. A képsorozat a cirkulárisan polarizált fény polaritásváltását szemlélteti tükröződéskor (lásd: Circular polarization az angol Wikipediában).
