Sarlanagar is a city near Maihar, primarily inhabited by employees of Maihar Cement. The city is named after Smt. Sarla Birla, wife of Shri B.K. Birla, who owns B.K. Birla Group of companies, including Maihar Cement.
It is split into three sections:
Education
There are two branches of school divided into Hindi Medium and English Medium.
Sarla Higher Secondary School It is a co-educational school situated in Madhya Pradesh. It is affiliated with the CBSE BOARD, AJMER.
Safety and environment
Safety Day is celebrated annually, focusing on debates and discussions about safety. Children participate by writing slogans, drawing pictures, and creating articles as part of the celebration. Various performances are held to raise awareness about safety. As the finale, a symbolic cartoon depicting the impacts of accidents is burned.
