Template:Classical composition header/doc

Usage

The template was developed similar to {{Classical works row}}, first used in Carl Nielsen works. It was developed for the List of compositions by Peter Maxwell Davies.

Parameters

General. as for other templates:

• All optional
• For dates and years, use {{start date}}
• For names to be sorted, use {{sortname}}
• For multiple values, use {{plainlist}}, {{flatlist}} or {{hlist}}

For this template:

• |composer= the composer for whom the list is shown, appears on top
• |details= header for the second column, for example "Translation"
• |show_key= if yes, a column for a key is created
• |key= header for the key column
• |scoring= header for a column that can describe a scoring if the title doesn't descibe it precisely enough
• |catalogue= header for a column that can be a catalogue, for example Op. for Opus number
• |year= header for a column that can give a year of composition
• |genre= header for a column that can specify a genre
• |text= header for a column that provides details about texts
• |reference= header for a column that provides further reference, such as free scores, links to a catalogue, or links to an official website
