This template is intended for use on statistics pages of international association football tournaments, e.g. 2010 FIFA World Cup statistics.

Usage

The template contains three sets of parameters: scoring, wins-losses and discipline. As such, one type of parameter cannot be used when another type is active (e.g. a scoring parameter cannot be used when the type "discipline" is active). The {{{line-breaks}}} and {{{updated}}} parameters above are universal, and can be used regardless of the type active.

Number ranges

The "n" in the "playern", "teamn" and "opponentn" parameters above denotes a number. Each of these numbers may be from 1 to 10. These can be used to add information about more than one player on a certain statistic. For example, the following syntax: <syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext">

• Fastest goal in a match from kickoff: 2nd minute (1:23) – Mario Gómez for Germany against Netherlands, Karim Benzema for France against Spain, Hulk for Brazil against Argentina</syntaxhighlight>

Produces the following:

• Fastest goal in a match from kickoff: 2nd minute (1:23) – Mario Gómez for Germany against Netherlands, Karim Benzema for France against Spain, Hulk for Brazil against Argentina
