This template generates an external link from a persistent identifier for a metadata entry within the Japan Center for Asian Historical Records (JACAR), a part of the National Archives of Japan.

Usage

For compatibility with the Japanese version of this template, <syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext" inline>Title (in Japanese)</syntaxhighlight> generates a less verbose link.
