Usage
This template triggers a request for authors, publishers or other involved persons (PER) in the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Bibliography (Landesbibliographie Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) in Germany. For that, its parameters are arranged in library order "Surname, Forename". The name information is automatically truncated from the right.
Introduction
This template is used to uniquely link Wikipedia articles to records in the [[Mecklenburg-Vorpommern State Bibliography (Landesbibliographie MV), where for the purpose of completeness any literature with a biographical relationship to the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is collected and organised. The MV State Bibliography is thus the most complete collection of literature documents on any regional subject. The MV State Bibliography currently holds data on approximately 25,000 individuals and families in its area of interest.
CAUTION! Linking to individual keywords is also the possible using Template:LBMV PPN. For larger towns in the state of MV a PPN search using a "*"-truncated keyword query Template: LBMV SWW is preferable. A PPN call using the wanted location generally doesn't include any subdistricts, because the latter are not recognized under its PPN. (Link example: Neubrandenburg#Weblinks)
