A simple user and talk namespace template that creates a link to send confidential email to a user. See: Wikipedia:Emailing users.
Usage
<syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext">
mail ExampleRecipient </syntaxhighlight>
gives: mail ExampleRecipient
<syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext"> spam John </syntaxhighlight>
gives: spam John
And on your own user page or talk page:
<syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext"> Please specify user's name as first parameter.</syntaxhighlight>
gives: mail me
