OrgSynth is designed to reference articles appearing in Organic Syntheses. It is based on the template {{cite journal}}, with the following parameters suppressed

  • month
  • journal
  • language
  • format
  • accessdate
  • laysummary
  • laydate
  • quote

and the following new parameters

  • prep (optional), for the preparation number in the Organic Syntheses database www.orgsyn.org, this parameter is overridden by url
  • collvol (optional), for the number of the collected volume
  • collvolpages (optional), for the pages in the collected volume, will not appear unless collvol is also set
  • collyear (optional), for the year the collected volume was published
  • abbr (optional), set to yes if you want the abbreviated forms Org. Synth./Coll. Vol. to display, rather than Organic Syntheses/Collective Volume
