Usage
- This redirect category (rcat) template populates both Category:Middle-earth redirects from titles without diacritics and Category:Unprintworthy redirects by default. In 2003, efforts were begun to support the Wikimedia Foundation's goal of increasing access and availability of Wikipedia articles in printed versions. Mainspace article redirects of this type are not suitable for a printed version. In other words they are unprintworthy.

- Template {{Rcat shell}} is an alias for the Redirect category shell template, which may be used to add as many appropriate rcats as needed, usually from one to seven, along with their parameters, to a redirect. For more information see the documentation on its template page. This rcat may also tag a redirect individually:

- From same ME page name without diacritics: This is a redirect from essentially the same Middle-earth page name that does not have diacritical marks (accents, umlauts, etc.) to the same title with those marks.
- Use this redirect link (without piping) when the page concerns language translation or English language equivalents. Other pages using this link should be updated to replace text with the redirect target (again, without piping).

- This is in accord with instructions found at Wikipedia:REDCAT.
- Use this rcat to tag any Middle-earth mainspace redirect from a title without diacritical marks (accents, umlauts, etc.) to essentially the exact same article title that does have diacritical marks. When more appropriate use {{R ME from alternative spelling}} instead.
