William Edward Butler (August 12, 1950 – January 23, 2018) was an American football running back who played three seasons with the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Kansas State and was drafted by the Saints in the fifth round of the 1972 NFL draft.[1][2][3]
