Chawa is a very old village in Bhera near the town of Bhera, Sargodha District, Pakistan. It is located at 30°59'0N 72°54'0E with an altitude of 153 metres (502 ft).[1]
The Bhalwana and Sipra are the main caste families. Mian Muhammad Sipra was a well known personality.[citation needed].
The first district Nazim of Sargodha Malik Amjad Ali Noon was from a village named Ali Pur Noon.
Chawa produces a specific kind of plant that is used in the manufacture of colour paints.[citation needed]
