Artist Housing Artist Housing was created by and managed by Kelvin Xuna of Logical Real Estate. Logical Real Estate, LLC was established in Florida in 2008 with the sole purpose of creating co-living. After the financial crisis of 2008, Kelvin Xuna was inspired to create high-value, low-cost shared housing, now known as Co-Living.
After establishing itself in the Miami and Denver market for several years, it branched out to Los Angeles, doing business as Artist Housing. It was Los Angeles's first official co-living company as of 2012, serving primarily young people who shared common interests mostly in Film and Music.
Artist Housing has remained one of Los Angeles's most affordable housing options since its inception. Artist Housing was also heavily inspired by Kelvin Xuna's annual visits to Burning Man, a popular arts and music festival held annually in Nevada’s Black Rock Canyon. Kelvin said he wanted to provide a similar communal living situation for artists, actors, musicians, etc., to focus on their passions and not be burdened by long-term leases, high rent, moving furniture, etc. He developed a shared and fully furnished communal working and living space for artists trying to make it in Los Angeles. Logical Housing and Artist Housing are committed to providing the best real estate for the value of a unique and overlooked real estate sector. Much like Uber, Airbnb, and WeWork, Artist Housing Is a new and disruptive option for real estate for younger renters who want to live untethered, on-demand, and free to follow their creative passions. Managed by Logical Housing and Kelvin Xuna. From the begining This flagship location in Downtown Los Angeles was the location that launched the Artist Housing communal living trend, which has helped bring in countless artists to Downtown Los Angeles during the Downtown Los Angeles Renaissance and Revitalization of the 2010s.
Where we are now Since the first Los Angeles opening in 2010, thousands of guests have stayed at Artist Housing, and they have expanded from Downtown Los Angeles. Logical Housing is currently working on a new satellite location in Miami, FL, and new cities to expand to.
