Geezm (Tigrinya: ግዕዝም) is a traditional sausage food from around Irob in the Misraqawi (Eastern) Zone.[1] [2] It is prepared from the casing of the big intestine or stomach of a goat or sheep. [3] [4][5] Inside the big intestine or stomach is inserted chopped meat, fat, onion, paper, and garlic. It is then boiled in water with spices for flavoring.
