Lamar County School District is in Alabama. It includes Lamar County High School (LCHS) and Sulligent High School.
The two high schools have a rivalry. Football star Joe Cribbs graduated from Sulligent.
Lamar County High-Intermediate is a public school serving grades 4 through 12 in Vernon, Alabama. It has about about 280 students. The student body is predominantly white with about 15 percent of students listed as minority.[1] Bulldogs are the school mascot.
In 1916 Lamar County High School was listed as an accredited secondary school.[2] The high school won the state football playoff championship in 1967 and 1984.ref>http://www.ahsfhs.org/teams2/teampage.asp?Team=Lamar%20County</ref>
