Lauren Elise Compton (born September 15, 1987) is an American actress, producer and comedian. She is best known for her small roles in films and television.[1][2]
Early life
Compton was born in Dallas, Texas to Ellen Jo Newcomb and Allen Dale Compton. She trained as a professional gymnast lasted eleven years, and performed at the national level. Compton also took acting classes and got to be in shows and plays at school. She attended Plano East Senior High School and graduated in 2005. Compton later settled in Los Angeles, California.[3]
Career
Compton's first acting roles were in The Fire, the short film Pain Is Beauty, and Interrogation. Afterwards, she took a hiatus from acting.
In 2011, she posed for Playboy Cyber girl for the month of September.
Compton resumed her acting career in 2014 with roles in independent films and Justin Lin's 2015 short film Help. She also contributed to a small guest role on the internet fantasy web series Last Life.
In 2016, she had a minor role in the horror-comedy film Attack of the Killer Donuts with Michael Swan and C. Thomas Howell.[4] Compton was also the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Octagon girl for the fight between Max Holloway and Anthony Pettis at UFC 206.[5][6]
In 2017, Compton starred in the legal drama Created Equal[7] and the horror Death House. In 2022, she starred on the Popcornflix/Crackle science-fiction series Salvage Marines.[8] Compton also contributed to guest roles on I'm Dying Up Here, Here and Now, and Your Honor.
She currently hosts the "First Date" segment for the comedy podcast Your Mom's House.
