Tanka Lal Ghising (born 18 Januaryy 1985) is an Nepalese Sports Official who is serving as the Member Secretary[1] of National Sports Council (Nepal) from 2021.[2] a pivotal role in which he oversees the promotion and management of various sports activities nationwide. He has also been influential in the field of rugby through Nepal Rugby Association, both in Nepal and across Asia through Asia Rugby.
Career
National Sports Council (NSC) Nepal
Tanka Lal Ghising's tenure as the Member Secretary of the National Sports Council of Nepal has been marked by efforts to enhance the sports infrastructure and programs in the country. Under his leadership, the NSC has initiated various projects aimed at improving sports facilities, training athletes, and organizing national and international sports events.
Asia Rugby

- Liability Protection: Safeguarding sports organizations, coaches, and event organizers against potential liabilities arising from accidents or injuries incurred by participants or spectators.
- Educational Initiatives: Implementing educational programs to raise awareness among athletes, coaches, and administrators about the importance of sports insurance and how to navigate the claims process effectively.
