The Honky Tonk Demos is a demo album by the British rock band Dire Straits, recorded at Pathway Studios during their first studio session on 27 July 1977, and released on 18 April 2015 by Mercury Records in a limited run of 1000 vinyls.[2] Containing previously unreleased recordings of 4 early versions of songs which eventually ended up on the band's debut album, The Honky Tonk Demos is the final album released by the group.
