Victor Manuel Turpin (born on March 14, 1982) is a Colombian actor[1] and singer, known for his diverse roles in television, film, and stage. Born in Medellín, Colombia, Turpin comes from a mixed heritage background. His father, Victor Turpin Sr., was a baseball player and television personality. Turpin’s early passion for music led him to perform with choirs and cover bands in Medellín, showcasing a range of genres from American pop and rock to traditional Colombian music.[2]

After completing his studies in graphic design and marketing, Turpin relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. He has since built a successful career in both American and Colombian productions. His television roles include appearances in popular shows such as Shades of Blue, where he acted alongside Jennifer Lopez, and Will & Grace, where he portrayed a character that resonated with the LGBTQ+ community.[2]

In 2017, Turpin joined the cast of Shades of Blue for its third season. The NBC police drama, starring Jennifer Lopez and Ray Liotta, featured Turpin as Enrique, the Colombian son of a wealthy drug cartel member. Prior to this role, Turpin had appeared in television shows such as Happily Divorced and See Dad Run, and in films including Killing Hasselhoff and Greenlight. He was represented by Pantheon and Kerner Management Associates at the time.[3]
