Previously deleted via Prod for the reason "sourced only to own site, no indication that this will or does meet WP:EVENT"; I was asked to rstore it, with the explanation "As you can see from here, for example, it is now being covered in reliable independent sources due to being headlined by two highly notable fighters: Bob Sapp and Mariusz Pudzianowski.". Delete - Another in a long line of MMA events witch fail our various inclusion criteria and policies (WP:NOTNEWSPAPER WP:MMAEVENT, WP:EVENT and WP:SPORTSEVENT), with the event not due for another two months, the coverage is totally routine in nature (consisting of the event announcement, who is going to take part) the article does not attempt to demonstrate what this event's lasting effect is going to be. Delete or Redirect to 2012 in mixed martial arts events#Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki where XIX is already mentioned (thought expansion may be needed). This future event is unlikely to pass WP:MMAEVENT and may not even pass WP:GNG. --TreyGeek (talk) 20:48, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

Keep per nom. Yes, per the nominator, who says, "As you can see from here, for example, it is now being covered in reliable independent sources due to being headlined by two highly notable fighters: Bob Sapp and Mariusz Pudzianowski." Thus, the article unequivocally passes WP:EVENT and is consistent with what Wikipedia is despite the vocal minority who just WP:IDONTLIKEIT with MMA articles. The article "unequivocally passes WP:EVENT"? Then please show how this event had "a noted and sourced permanent effect", "historical significance", and "a demonstrable long-term impact on a significant region of the world" as mentioned in that guideline. Papaursa (talk) 01:25, 5 April 2012 (UTC)

Don't delete it, bro! I read about this one over on the forums, where everyone's collectiev reaction was this towards those saying to delete something that has had a note and sourced permanent effect (the article is cited in multiple reliable sources), historical significance (participation by the greatest strongman of all time against another fighter of note), and a demonstrablelong-term impact on a significant region of the world (this event is of true importance for Poles, so unless you are racist against Polish people, they could as significant!). --172.130.242.182 (talk) 17:07, 7 April 2012 (UTC) Note: Blocked sock, Now Range Blocked.
