Function details: Purge WP:PERM 1x/hour to force an updated transclusion of its ten or so child pages.

Underlying detail: Like task 2, but unlike most of the other tasks for this bot, the current delay appears to be a job queue delay rather than a deeper bug., I've seen delays into the small number of hours there. Trivial change to existing code, so relatively low risk, and I'm more than happy to add it.

As expected, I heard quite a bit of silence. A few tests with the code in manual mode showed that it did the right thing. A few spot checks after it's hourly run seemed to confirm that. Other than that, no problems were observed or reported. --j⚛e decker ^talk 23:29, 7 August 2014 (UTC)

All looked fine from what I saw, this is a super-simple task (hit purge once an hour for 1 page) and it appears to be helping. If it's still running as trial, I'm fine to let it continue until approval completes. Thanks! — xaosflux ^Talk 03:44, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
