I declined G12 here, this looks like backwardscopying but best to be sure. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 20:41, 3 January 2024 (UTC)

- This is the other site using unattributed content from Wikipedia, rather than Wikipedia copying text from the site. The site contains content that was organically added to the article by a variety of editors over a several years -- from at least 2007 to 2010. Meanwhile the Wayback Machine shows the external site was likely created in 2022 or thereabouts. Jfire (talk) 16:38, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Jfire; You can't always trust archives. The copyright date goes back to 2007 for the website. I'm not disagreeing with your assessment of probable backwards copying (I'm currently doing my own to be absolutely certain for tag placement), but I also want to warn you that Wayback Machine is only as reliable as those taking snapshots and many websites appear younger than they are because of it. Sennecaster (Chat) 19:01, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
- Sure, that's true, although a copyright of 2007 in the footer is not decisive evidence either. What I think is pretty telling, though, is that in 2011 thepranichealers.com was a placeholder. This makes it unlikely that sub-pages such as https://www.thepranichealers.com/master-hilarion-master-of-fifth-ray existed. Meanwhile, the Wikipedia article was already well developed at that point, containing much of the content that now appears on https://www.thepranichealers.com/master-hilarion-master-of-fifth-ray. - I'm thinking it's from 2018 based on the source code for the page. Source code isn't guaranteed to always be useful but it's very hard to falsify if a date is listed in the code. Sennecaster (Chat) 19:41, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
