Non-free photograph from commercial news agency. Object of just enough commentary in the article to avoid speedy deletion per CSD#F7, but nevertheless an NFCC#8 failure: the commentary is purely about the political consequences of the publication of the image, but does not depend in any way on the presence of any concrete visual detail of the image itself. The verbal description (" The Globe and Mail published an image on its front page showing operatives in distinctive forest-green Canadian Forces combat uniforms delivering captured prisoners to the Americans") is entirely sufficient for the reader to understand the affair. This verbal description, without the image, has been in the article for years and the article has worked like that just fine, so it would be odd to argue that readers' understanding of the topic would suffer without the image. Merely claiming (without a reference) that the image is "iconic" is not a magic free pass around NFCC#8. Fut.Perf. ☼ 06:54, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

This is an updated image of the Gun Barrel Sequence that is in Golddeneye. Previous image was Kleinman gunbarrel.jpg. Previous image was a lower resolution image, this one shows more details of the sequence. flavious27 (talk) 11:57, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

Flavious, we cannot use non-free files as we feel. They must pass ten strict criteria before they are allowed in articles, and this fails two of them: it is too big, and it does not provide contextual context. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 16:01, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

Delete Fails WP:NFCC#1: it can be replaced by File:Dr No trailer.jpg. If you think that the replacement image is of bad quality, you should remember that the whole trailer is in the public domain, not just that image. Thus, you could extract a higher quality image from the trailer. Fails WP:NFCC#3b: way too many pixels. Fails WP:NFLISTS: "In articles and sections of articles that consist of several small sections of information for a series of elements common to a topic, such as a list of characters in a fictional work, non-free images should be used judiciously to present the key visual aspects of the topic. The main purpose seems to be to show an image of the two men on the photo, but both of them seem to be alive, and there is no explanation why this wouldn't be replaceable by a different photo of them, so the image also fails WP:NFCC#1.
