Portal:Michael Faraday

Portal:Michael Faraday (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Important but narrow topic. Single-page portal built from an embedded list.

Michael Faraday is a Level-3 vital article, but Wikipedia's coverage of his life and work is concentrated in a relatively small set of articles. This portal is a WP:REDUNDANTFORK of the head article.

The core topics in this portal's article list are listed in the article's infobox. Most of the remainder are for awards or other topics bearing his name, which are not a sufficiently significant addition to merit a standalone portal

Common to both lists
Unique to the portal's list

The best way to assist navigation in this area would be to combine the two lists into a navbox, which I will now create. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 12:20, 22 April 2019 (UTC)

  • Speedy delete per G7 - Damn! I hoped you wouldn't notice this one - Faraday is one of my favourite scientists. You are, however, right again: the reader would be better served by a template similar to one needed for Alan Turing (but I don't have the time to make any at the moment).
