Template talk:Remove first word
I cannot honestly see any point in this. Don't type the first word. Save us all some grief while editing. pablo 17:49, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
- This template is one of many provided as a resource for template programmers – see Template:String templates see also text. There are situations in template programming where you need to process a string by removing the first word. You wouldn't of course use this template directly in an article. It's not much used but its 'sibling' template, {{Remove first word/any}} is used by the taxobox templates, found all over Wikipedia. I don't see any reason for deletion.
