Suspected sockpuppets

This SPI is based purely on enwiki activity; Ashfaq is tagged as a sock of Xufifcn (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki) and Marko as a sock of Imran khan1 (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log) · investigate · cuwiki) on Commons, but I couldn't find enough evidence for that. Common patterns: page-move vandalism and spurious CSD nominations, and two-letter edit summaries (first upper-case and second lower-case) centred around articles with "Altaf", "Niazi", "Muhajir", "Alizeh Shah".

Given the use of sleepers (Zamro was created in March), I am requesting CheckUser. Sdrqaz (talk) 23:04, 15 August 2021 (UTC)

Three new, single-purpose accounts popped up immediately after the 31 hr block of User:Zamro waro, and each made a single, consecutive edit to State Of Sindhistan, created by Zamro waro:

  •  Blocked and tagged the likely group; behavioral evidence is enough for me. Not touching the second group at this time; strange that they found that one page, but behavior isn't consistent with the group. Lock requested for master and Zamro waro, rest are globally locked. Suspected sockpuppets

Strange behavior from these two socks, all have overlapping edits to Ghokti and Ghotki District with previous socks here, as well as bad page moves, like Punjab, Pakistan and Lahore with gibberish edit summaries. ie "Fcg" and "Fhv". See also this edit by Chungaro, which was a creation by chumiun zao. There's also edits to Niazi and moving of Hina Altaf to gibberish like the master. CUPIDICAE💕 13:48, 12 April 2022 (UTC)

  • These two accounts are clearly the same person. From the CU logs for the master, I see overlaps at multiple IP ranges. Both accounts are already globally locked; tagging as proven.
