Creates an illusion of support. (WP:ILLEGIT) Sussie17 started editing on 5 April following Javier93h's getting banned on the Spanish WP for breaches against WP:CIVILITY and WP:DISRUPTPOINT on 2 April. The suspicion of sock/meat puppetry was first raised by experienced user Valenciano on 5 April I then explicitly raised the question of possible sockpuppetry on the relevant talk page, Sussie17 responded claiming to be someone who met Javier in the (political) party UPyD (all their edits are directly or indirectly relating to).
All three accounts/IP edit the same few articles across English and Spanish WPs, use the same wording, even use the same fawlty English in the discussions concerning two separate translations: Javier93h: "Union for progress and Democracy is a bad translate." Sussie17: "it seems that the best translate of Fundación Progreso ...".
Javier93h (first), Sussie17 (later) and 79.108.144.61 have engaged in edit wars, even accusing of "vandalism" in the edit line when reverting other users' edits (one of several examples: 79.108.144.61), instead of backing up own claims "In English, the most commonly used name is Union, Progress and Democracy." with sources as requested.
79.108.144.61 tried to prevent an open discussion about a Requested Move WP:RM by completely deleting the request, likewise calling the move request "vandalism", Sussie17 repeated the exact same drastic move of a complete deletion of the RM section only hours later -- which could well amount to a breach of WP:DISRUPTPOINT or other rules.
Javier93h first claimed on the Spanish article talk page the party UPyD had another name [than the one] it officially adopted and which it has been using since its foundation in 2007, and later extended his fight to the English article citing one single book by Rosa Díez in which his preferred name appears (as an exception), a weak source cited later, in a different context, by Sussie17.
Javier93h now appears to be inactive in the discussions he was until recently so extremely passionate about (he even left this gross insult on my Spanish talk page on 2 April: "Eres un soberbio de mierda que vandaliza en la Wikipedia en inglés porque simplemente quiere tener la razón. Que te jodan, cerdo.", which I prefer to leave untranslated and which was removed by another user shortly after), which only reinforces the suspicion user Javier93h is continuing to edit under the name of Sussie17. Hvd69 (talk) 12:22, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
- Following my original request I have now added two more suspicious IPs used in the same context (see here), probably by the same puppet master (the second IP has so far only been used within the Spanish WP [1] and [2]).--Hvd69 (talk) 09:25, 11 April 2014 (UTC)

Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims. I have to agree with the filer. Both these accounts have WP:DUCK written all over them. Stylistically they write the same, cite the same publications in support of their arguments and make the same mistakes in English and are concerned with articles about Union, Progress and Democracy and its name. For example, to add to the above, Javier here makes the argument that the name of the article shouldn't be changed based on "interpretation." Sussie makes exactly the same argument here, the name shouldn't be changed based on "interpretation." Valenciano (talk) 12:38, 8 April 2014 (UTC)

Self-endorsed by clerk for checkuser attention - I don't see any damning evidence, but the similarity in interests and writing style justifies a check. King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 03:12, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
Confirmed with respect to the named user(s).
No comment with respect to IP address(es). Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry (Message me) 10:18, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
Administrator note I see no other action needed, the sockmaster and puppet were blocked indefinitely. I don't think blocking the IPs is necessary; if the editor can hop IPs they will and blocking them won't accomplish anything but collateral damage (and one of the IPs hasn't been active at this project anyway). I'm marking this for closure. -- Atama頭 16:10, 11 April 2014 (UTC)

Identical behaviour. Continuation of this recent case Hvd69 (talk) 20:19, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
Comments by other users
Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims. The editing style of all these users is identical. A read of their posts will show English is clearly not their native language. Sombragrís80 is a single purpose account focused, like Javier93h, on the name of Union, Progress and Democracy. Javier93h cites Irene Lozano in support of his arguments here and Sombragrís80 does the same here. Other arguments are identical Javier93h: "Union for progress and Democracy is a bad translate." Sussie17: "it seems that the best translate of Fundación Progreso ...", Sombragrís80: Progress and Democracy Union is a very bad translate. Javier93h: "If the party put a comma in a seat" and Sombragrís80: "Unión, Progreso y Democracia has been used by UPyD on a seat." (Seat??) Lastly Sombragrís80's only other edit on any Wikiproject was to El hobbit: un viaje inesperado on the Spanish Wikipedia, an article which Javier93h had also shown interest in. Valenciano (talk) 08:03, 15 April 2014 (UTC) Sorry but Javier93h is not the only person interested in UPyD and the Hobbit. I specially did my Wikipedia user account to avoid that UPyD has a wrong translate. And yes, seat of UPyD, seat of government seat=sede.Sombragrís80 (talk) 10:11, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

1 2 3 these edits look to be exactly the same against the same editor for the same cause and as below here is the diff Gabriel Turner (talk) 23:33, 13 November 2014 (UTC)

- User:Weegeerunner has now joined the fray making identical edits and seems much too clueful for a genuinely new editor. Valenciano (talk) 23:47, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
- I have been reading the meta pages and talk archives for quite a while, I only made an account recently. As for joining the fray, I simply made 1 edit. I never planned on making any other edits to that article. Weegeerunner (talk) 03:44, 14 November 2014 (UTC)

Confirmed relation in the Spanish Wikipedia, blocked in that version of Wikipedia because of continuous vandalism. He is also blocked indefinitely here, but Pearlcopse was used a lot of time and with many edits, evading their block in the English Wikipedia. Sfs90 (talk) 01:46, 26 August 2015 (UTC)
