Suspected sockpuppets


Thachx, along with six IPs, all delete and edit on the same content from the Flag of Vietnam article. Most also edit on the Đàm Thanh Sơn article. Thachx seems to be switching between these identities to avoid allegations of edit warring, and to fabricate a "community consensus". Flag of Vietnam was semi-protected with the comment “Persistent sockpuppetry”.[1] So presumably someone has already run checkuser and linked these IDs. Thachx is an account an with only a few edits, but he already knows how to do templates and Wikilawyer. So he is obviously not a new user. Kauffner (talk) 17:21, 14 April 2013 (UTC)

  • The IPs haven't edited for several weeks and are likely dynamic, so blocks won't be effective here. The semi-protection will probably need to remain until this problem is sorted out. I've left a notice on the master's talk page reminding him that logging out to avoid blocks or scrutiny is not ok. Come back if there are further problems. Closing. Suspected sockpuppets
