Suspected sockpuppets

There is a pattern of SPAs whose only edits are to add citations to papers by Rita Yi Man Li to the leads of articles, often with copyright (or Creative Commons attribution) issues. Their usernames are modeled after the article to which the account has been created to edit (e.g., "KHcoder1234" for the article KH Coder, or "Softcomputing12345" for Soft computing). I'm pretty sure this has been going on for years; I just listed a few that I found right now based on some of her recent publications. These seem like single-use accounts so I know blocking isn't going to change much, but I feel it's useful to establish a paper trail, and it would be also be helpful to get a fuller list of detected accounts for COI-tracking purposes. I had no idea what name to file this under, so feel free to move (possibly depending on results of investigation). Thanks, DanCherek (talk) 02:23, 5 May 2023 (UTC)
