Evidence

User appears to have set up a network of accounts where alternate music articles to that of the main Wikipedia articles have been reposited. They follow a similar format in that the articles are listed on Talk subpages, and all the user accounts are interlinked via the main user pages eg. User:Kitmir, go to the bottom of the user page, and the articles they created are all interlinked, compare with User:Absad. These accounts were all created within the same month of each other (March 2008) and the articles uploaded within hours of each other. Checking the user contributions indicate, these accounts were created for the sole purpose of adding alternate articles with no other contributions.

A google search of the above URLs indicate it appears the above articles are being linked outside, in preference to that of the main Wikipedia articles on the subject. Examples:

Comments
  • Pretty convincing from the intertwined user pages over the time correlation up to the leading blanks for the sub articles. Suggest subsequent direct speedy deletion of all those articles.--Tikiwont (talk) 12:25, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

    • Added. I'm amazed these accounts and pages have existed since March and no-one noticed them. A-Kartoffel (talk) 05:38, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
  • Pattern - The subpages uses are user talk subpages. These subpages are not detectible from the subpages link below the User contributions page. Also, these subpages all being with a space after the "/", making them appear on the top of a sort search for the topic (not sure whether that affects a google search). -- Suntag ☼ 16:45, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
  • You can see them by selecting the user talk space while checking the user space, e.g. [7].
I strongly suspect there is also another sockpuppet account, in addition to the above list, but cannot prove it beyond applying for an IP check on the user. The editing of similar music articles and the account name follows the list pattern. A-Kartoffel (talk) 05:03, 30 September 2008 (UTC)


Conclusions

All known accounts disabled and subpages deleted per MfD Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User talk:0tat/ Led Zeppelin Mothership. If there are other accounts they can still listed here as suspected. --Tikiwont (talk) 08:25, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
