- Evidence
- This account betrays the same editing habits as blocked user User:AlexLevyOne and his four (known) sockpuppets, User:Elsass3, User:AlexandreLevy, User:NORD74 and User:VingtSix -- trivial wikifying (or un-wikifying) of material, e.g. [1] and [2], almost complete lack of edit summaries, and an interest in articles relating to French cinema and television. It was created a few hours after the NORD74 account was blocked, and is of course the Roman numeral equivalent of "VingtSix". See WP:Suspected_sock_puppets/AlexLevyOne for more details.
- Comments
- Note that among the articles edited by XXVI and several of the other accounts are History of Jews in Alsace, Maïwenn Le Besco, and Marc Zermati (which was created by the Elsass3 account and edited successively by AlexLevyOne, VingtSix, NORD74, and XXVI). XXVI has also displayed an interest in an art gallery called Galerie Chappe, an article (now deleted) about which had been created by either Elsass3 or AlexLevyOne, I forget which. - This is a plain case of sockpuppetry by a repeat offender. Tracking his contributions and cleaning up after him - even when he's not vandalizing pages (like Osama bin Laden in his prior incarnations, see AlexLevyOne and NORD74 - is a chore, and some action on this request would be helpful. The necessary effort to keep an eye on him is multiplied substantially by his creation of new accounts every time a new puppet is detected and blocked. JohnInDC (talk) 00:02, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- Conclusions
Both accounts indef blocked. Cirt (talk) 11:23, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
