- Shepherd's Bush London Overground station opens
- New tube trains are displayed in Euston Square
- TfL becomes the first transport organisation to be given the top award for best equality
- A "Safer Travel at Night" scheme has been introduced to reduce illegal cabs and touting
- All TX4 taxis with the 56 registration are suspended due to an ongoing investigation into an unknown fault causing the cabs to catch fire
- A set of poems from recent wars are displayed on the London Underground to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice in 1918
- In Bounds Green, the A406 is to be improved to ease congestion
- Bridges in Hanger Lane are to be upgraded to improve safety.
- Bus strikes possibly occurred in mid-September on Metrobus and First.
- New Dial-a-Ride minibuses are to be introduced to help old and disabled people.
- The London Underground roundel celebrates its 100th birthday, with a series of artwork
- Residents feel that the London City Airport extension of the Docklands Light Railway has played a major role in the regeneration of North Woolwich and Silvertown
- A special cycling centre in West London has been set up to help people with special needs
August - second half
- A strke occurs on bus services operated by First.
- A young singer has won a TfL talent competition.
- Major engineering works begin on part of the London Overground
- New gates improve access at Sudbury Town tube station.
- TfL's cycling website goes live with a photo competition
- An RMT strike occurs on the London Underground
- All London Overground stations have been cleaned and had some improvements

- General
On the assessment side, there are still a lot of articles that need to be assessed for their importance to this project and their general quality. Over the past couple of weeks, interest in assessment of articles has also generally fallen. Of the current 1714 articles, 415 have not ben assessed for quality, also of which 404 have not had their importance to the project assessed either. Please can there be an effort to do this, just like an effort was done to one the articles in UK Railways.
However, congratulations to all the people involved in getting Charing Cross, Euston and Hampstead Railway to featured status. Well done for this achievement.
Please can people become more involved with other areas of the portal. The portal still seems to be only gaining contributions on the selected article and picture areas. It seems there is still a general lack of interest in the portal other than these areas. The statues issue has also been sorted as last month's image.
Interest in other areas are okay.

As usual, this issue is in the current format and is still awaiting suggestions for other improvements. No new Did You Knows were available for this so have not been included.
Please provide any suggestions for any improvements to this newsletter and any comments or anything else to include in the next issue. Please can ideas be given for a better layout on this newsletter. Feedback is much appreciated.
This edition has a large TfL news section as the previous edition was launched mid-month and so it seemed inappropriate to launch this issue immediately at the start of the next month. That is why it is being launched today. I also apologise for not releasing this 3 days ago.
This is a revived edition, partly as this still has had support from many people and the paper's subscribers and would not be here without you all.

Many bus routes in London are deleted due to incompleteness.
