Meteorological instruments and data
Non-tropical storms
- 1779-1780 "The Hard" Winter I've done some research on it and it has been said it's the worst winter in American history. Most notably, the American Army encamped at Morriston recorded at least 26 winter storms, including 6 blizzards. In New York City, the British were able to march from Manhattan to Staten Island with their cannons from how thick the ice was on the Hudson River.[1] Jamisonsupame (talk) 04:27, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
