Erythraea or Erythraia (Ancient Greek: Ἐρυθραῖα) was an ancient town in Crete. Its location is unknown.[citation needed] Florus mentions it alongside Kydonia and Knossos as submitting to Quintus Caecilius Metellus Creticus.[1]
